SEMA: What is the best advice you have ever received?
Daryl Hutson: It isn’t the whiskey they choose, it’s the image. ― David Ogilvy, Ogilvy on Advertising
SEMA: What keeps you in the industry?
DH: The ever-changing climate of this industry never has a dull moment. I love the challenges of marketing to it.
SEMA: Where can you be found on a Saturday?
DH: In the woods—either in a 4x4 or on a mountain bike.
SEMA: How do you prepare for an important meeting?
DH: Hoping it won't last long. Meetings are the worst.
SEMA: If you could go to lunch with one industry leader, living or dead, who it would be?
DH: Chip Foose. His work ethic and attention to detail are inspiring.
